How It Works
From registration to receiving your firearms — here’s what to expect.
Register
Register before auction day. In-person bidders can register at the door or pre-register through Golden Eagle Live. Online bidders register through Golden Eagle Live. Absentee and phone bidders submit forms in advance.
Preview & Research
Browse our catalog for high-res photos and detailed descriptions of every lot. Contact info@goldeneagleauctions.com with questions. Know your state’s firearms laws before you bid.
Bid
Pre-bidding is available online through Golden Eagle Live before auction day and sets the starting bid for each lot. Once live, bid in-person, online, by absentee form, or by phone. 15% buyer’s premium applies to all winning bids.
Win & Pay
Invoices are emailed within 72 hours. Payment is due within 48 hours. In-person buyers may pay at pickup. Accepted: Cash, Check, Cashier’s Check, Wire Transfer ($25 fee), Visa, MasterCard, Discover.
Submit Your FFL
For shipped items, email your receiving FFL to FFL@goldeneagleauctions.com within 30 days. Items will not ship until payment and FFL are verified.
Pickup or Ship
Ship: $30/handgun, $40/long gun flat rate (out-of-state). FL buyers, let us know if you need shipping. Pickup: By appointment only in Sanford, FL. Scheduling link included in your invoice. 3-day waiting period from payment (excludes weekends/holidays), waived with a valid FL concealed carry permit.

Submit your maximum bid in advance and our staff will bid on your behalf during the live auction. You’ll only pay the minimum amount needed to win, plus applicable fees and premiums. Your maximum bid is kept confidential. Forms must be submitted prior to the start of the auction.

Buyer’s Premium & Sales Tax
Every lot sold is subject to a 15% buyer’s premium. A 7% Florida sales tax applies to all in-person pickups and items shipped to a Florida address. Out-of-state buyers are responsible for remitting sales tax to their local agency. Florida dealers may register their tax exemption form along with their FFL prior to the sale.
Payment
Payment is due within 48 hours of receiving your invoice. Accepted methods include cash, check, cashier’s check, wire transfer ($25 fee), Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. A 3% surcharge applies to all credit card transactions. In-person buyers may pay at the time of pickup. Credit card chargebacks will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Shipping & FFL
Flat-rate shipping: $30 per handgun and $40 per long gun, added automatically for out-of-state buyers. You must email a copy of your receiving FFL to FFL@goldeneagleauctions.com within 30 days. Items will not ship until payment and FFL are received.
In-Person Pickup & Transfers
In-person pickups and transfers take place at Golden Eagle Auctions in Sanford, FL BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. A 3-day waiting period from the date of payment applies to all handguns and long guns unless you provide a valid Florida concealed carry permit. All federal, state, and local regulations apply.
All Sales Are Final
All winning bids are final and constitute a binding contract. All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS. No refunds or exchanges. Catalog descriptions are opinions written as an aid to bidders and are not warranties. It is the sole responsibility of the Bidder to know their state and local firearms laws before placing a bid.
Removal & Abandoned Items
All property must be removed or shipped within 60 days of the auction’s conclusion. Items not removed within this timeframe — including failure to submit FFL information — are considered abandoned. Abandoned items will be resold at GEA’s discretion with no proceeds returned to the original purchaser.
