Why Auction Consignment Gets More

National Bidder Reach

National Bidder Reach

Your firearms are listed on Golden Eagle Live and Proxibid, reaching active collectors and enthusiasts across the country. We market every auction directly via email, SMS, physical mailers, and live events, so your lots reach serious bidders before the first bid is placed.

Competitive Bidding

No Price Ceiling

Private sales and pawn shops set a ceiling on what you can get. Competitive bidding from motivated buyers does the opposite. Rare, collectible, and high-value firearms routinely exceed private market estimates when the right bidders are in the room.

FFL Compliant

Fully FFL-Compliant

Every consignment is handled by a licensed FFL dealer. ATF recordkeeping, Form 4473, background checks, and all legal transfers are our responsibility. You hand off your firearms and we manage every regulatory requirement from intake through final transfer to the buyer.

Veteran-Owned

Veteran-Led Integrity

Golden Eagle Auctions was founded by a U.S. Marine Corps veteran with 16+ years of auction industry experience. We treat every collection, whether a single heirloom or a lifetime of collecting, with the respect and honest dealing it deserves.

Daytona Beach Consignors We Work With

Longtime Collectors

The Volusia County area has a strong tradition of firearms collecting, and collections built here over decades often include pieces with real auction value that local private sales simply cannot unlock. Our national platform and quarterly auction format put your firearms in front of buyers across the country who are actively looking for exactly what you have.

Estate Executors & Attorneys

Florida estates throughout Volusia and Flagler counties regularly include firearms that need to be sold legally, efficiently, and at fair value. We work directly with estate attorneys and executors to handle the full consignment process, from initial intake and FFL documentation through final settlement, so the estate can close without complication.

Inherited Collections

Received firearms from a parent or grandparent and unsure how to handle them? We guide you through the legal requirements, assess what you have, and connect the collection with collectors and buyers who will appreciate it. As one of our closest service areas, getting started is straightforward: a short drive to Sanford or a pickup call handles the rest.

Individual Sellers

Have one piece worth more than a pawn shop will ever offer? We work with individual consignors and apply the same professional cataloging, photography, and marketing to a single lot as we do to a full collection. If competitive bidding can add value, we will make sure it does.

Absolute and Reserve Auctions

Most consignors choose to sell absolute, meaning the high bid wins regardless of price. Absolute auctions generate the most competitive bidding because buyers know the lot will sell, and that confidence drives prices up. For consignors who trust the process and the audience we bring, absolute is typically the stronger choice.

For consignors who want a price floor on particularly valuable pieces, reserve options are available. You set the reserve and we help you land on a number that protects your interests without killing bidder momentum. Lots that do not meet their reserve are subject to a no-sale fee, so we work with you upfront to make sure any reserve you set is realistic and defensible given current market conditions.

Not sure which approach fits your collection? Tell us what you have and we will give you an honest recommendation before you commit to anything.

How the Consignment Process Works

1

Contact Us

Fill out the form below or call (863) 344-1417. Tell us about your firearms: make, model, approximate condition, and quantity. We will follow up within one to two business days to discuss your collection and walk you through the consignment process.

2

Intake or Pickup

Bring firearms to our Sanford facility, just 45 minutes from Daytona Beach, or arrange pickup for qualifying collections in Volusia and Flagler counties. All intake documentation and FFL paperwork is handled on the spot.

3

Catalog & Photography

Every lot is professionally photographed and described with the detail that moves serious collectors: make, model, caliber, condition, provenance notes, and any features that affect value. This is where your collection is presented at its best.

4

Marketing & Auction

Your lots go live on Golden Eagle Live and Proxibid for our next quarterly auction. Pre-auction marketing to our established buyer base gets the right bidders engaged before the first gavel drops. No price floors on absolute lots means competitive bidding can take prices as high as the market will go.

5

Settlement & Payment

Once the auction closes and all buyer transfers are complete, you receive your settlement. We handle every buyer interaction, transfer, and compliance requirement. Your only job is cashing the check.

Tell Us About Your Collection

No obligation, no pressure. Describe your firearms and we will follow up within one to two business days with an honest assessment of what the auction process looks like for your specific pieces. Volusia and Flagler county pickup available for qualifying collections.
